New Arrival

by Alice Deeper

about

Ambient electronic rock with guitar synthesizer and non-linear lyrics scrambled through.

The pandemic shook the world and split mankind into a variety of camps, instead of uniting them - largely part due to politicization of the virus, which was as disingenious as it could get.

And I thought it was high time for a UFO to come beam me away from this messed up world, so I put all my mindpower into summoning one, but all I came up with was this tune.

And I sat and watched the stars circling the sky.

lyrics

The world that shook it all
Turned life into statistics
Policies of flawed heuristics
Laid waste to old control
Laid waste to confidence
A strange dream that never ends
Oblivious to evidence

Asymptomatic pandemic
In a fraction of a second
And the world that shook it all
Went up in the flames of a new arrival
Enlightened to survival

Now we sit and watch the stars circling the sky
The road is open
The path is bright

We sit and watch the stars circling the sky

about

Alice Deeper Netherlands

We are a music project, exploring moods and grooves and the boundaries between artist and audience, fiction and reality through the fog of smoke machines and stroboscopes since 1996.

New psychedelic, post gothic, alternative indie wave rock. With experiments in other genres, notably 'myth wave'.

Experience it for yourself. Some of our stuff is free to pick up.
